Depression
Feeling down, flat, or hopeless for weeks? A live video visit, validated screening, and a plan that may include medication, counseling, or both.
A real conversation by video, validated screening, and a plan that may include medication, counseling, or both.
Yes, by live video, for adults 18 and older in Texas. A real conversation by video, validated screening, and a plan that may include medication, counseling, or both. A Texas-licensed Passion Health clinician meets you on live video (Passion Health sees every mental-health visit by video), uses validated screening tools and builds a written plan with you. The flat price is $129, or use insurance. Medicines a clinician may consider include sertraline, escitalopram and buspirone — never controlled medicines, and a prescription is never guaranteed. If you've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, you need an in-person visit within a few days instead, and you don't pay the online fee.

Anxiety disorders cause worry, fear or nervousness that is hard to control and gets in the way of daily life. Generalized anxiety disorder brings near-constant worry with restlessness, poor sleep and muscle tension. Genes, stress, trauma, health problems and some medicines or substances can contribute. Anxiety is common, treatable, and often occurs alongside depression.
Not near one of our clinics? Online Care is open to adults anywhere in Texas; our clinics are in Dallas–Fort Worth. If the safety questions or your clinician show you need to be examined, we tell you what kind of care you need and how soon — an emergency room, an urgent care center, or a clinician near you. If you've already paid, the full fee is refunded and you get a written summary of your visit to take with you.
Also call 911 for chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke signs, a sudden severe headache, fainting, a seizure, severe bleeding, new confusion, throat swelling, an overdose or thoughts of harming someone else — and call or text 988 for thoughts of harming yourself. If screening routes you before you pay, nothing is charged. If a clinician routes you after you've paid, the full fee is refunded.
Your answers go to the clinician ahead of the visit.
A Texas-licensed Passion Health clinician talks it through with you, using validated screening tools.

Generic prices are mail-order cash prices listed by Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company on October 15, 2026, including its $5.00 pharmacy fee and $5.25 standard shipping. A shorter course costs less.
Shown so you can plan, not to point you to a pharmacy. Any Texas pharmacy can fill your prescription, and its cash price may be higher or lower. With insurance, your plan sets your cost, and a cash purchase usually doesn't count toward your deductible. If you have Medicare or Medicaid, ask the pharmacy to use your coverage first. Prices change. Passion Health doesn't sell medicine and receives nothing from any pharmacy or drugmaker. A prescription is never guaranteed.
Shown so you know what to expect. The reviewing clinician decides what, if anything, is appropriate for you — a prescription is never guaranteed, and controlled medicines are never prescribed online.
Using insurance: we're in network with BCBS of Texas, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Humana and Healthcare Highways, and we verify eligibility for every plan before review — you see your estimated cost-share first. New patients have a short video visit, because plans pay for a visit, not a form. Same-day review applies to self-pay visits; insurance visits begin once we've verified your plan, which is the next business morning if you submit overnight or on a weekend. Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and TRICARE are billed to the program, and the cash rate isn't offered for covered services.
Full refund if your case isn't accepted: if the clinician doesn't accept your case for online care, for any reason, the full fee is refunded to your card within 10 business days, and we help you get the care you need: a same-day visit at one of our Dallas–Fort Worth clinics or, if you're not near one, clear advice on where to be seen and a written summary of your visit. With insurance, no claim is submitted for the online review. Paying the flat price yourself? You can ask for a written Good Faith Estimate before your visit.
Labs and imaging, if needed, are billed separately, and medication is paid at your pharmacy. Passion Health doesn't sell, ship or mark up medication.
Check-in 1–2 weeks after any medication start or change, then on a schedule that fits your plan; 90 days of messaging.
Video visit included. Check-in 1–2 weeks after any medication start or change (within about a week if you're 18 to 24), then every 90 days. Counselor referral through Passion Health Mental Health & Wellness.
The flat cash rate is $129 for a comprehensive evaluation, or use your insurance and pay your plan's cost-share — we show you an estimate before review starts. Medication is paid at your pharmacy. If the clinician doesn't accept your case for online care, for any reason, the full fee is refunded to your card.
Because Passion Health sees every mental-health visit by live video: a live conversation is the safest way to do these visits online, and it lets the clinician use validated screening tools and build the plan with you. That is our policy, not a Texas legal requirement.
No. You're paying for a licensed clinician's evaluation and plan. Many visits end with a prescription; some end with a different plan, a test, or a referral. Controlled medicines — stimulants, benzodiazepines, opioids, testosterone, sleep aids like zolpidem — are never prescribed at an online visit.
No. Benzodiazepines are controlled substances and are not prescribed through Online Care. For long-term anxiety, guidelines favor medicines such as SSRIs and talk therapy, which don't carry the same risk of dependence. If you take a benzodiazepine now, don't stop it suddenly — talk with your prescriber, because stopping abruptly can be dangerous.
SSRIs such as sertraline and escitalopram usually take 2 to 6 weeks to start helping, and longer for their full effect. Some people feel jittery or have an upset stomach in the first week or two. Your clinician checks in 1 to 2 weeks after any start or change (within about a week if you're 18 to 24), then every 90 days.
Yes. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) helps many types of anxiety, alone or with medicine. Some people start with counseling, some with medicine, and many use both. Your clinician can refer you to a counselor and help you decide what fits your situation and preferences.
Yes. Antidepressants, including the SSRIs often used for anxiety, carry an FDA boxed warning: in people under 25, they can increase suicidal thoughts or behavior, especially in the first weeks or after a dose change. If you're 18 to 24, your clinician checks in within about a week of starting or changing a dose. At any age, tell your clinician right away if you notice new or worse anxiety, agitation, panic, trouble sleeping or mood changes. If you have thoughts of suicide, call or text 988, or call 911 if you're in danger.
A clinician may form a valid patient relationship by live video when the in-person standard of care is met (Tex. Occ. Code §111.005(a)(3), §111.007; 22 TAC §175.2). Seeing every mental-health visit by live video is Passion Health's policy. So is our rule that controlled medicines are never prescribed or renewed through Online Care; if one is ever considered, that decision is made only at an in-person visit with a Passion Health physician.
