Passion Health wants everyone to be able to use Online Care, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, voice control or captions. We build these pages to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we check

Every Online Care page, and every step of the online visit, is checked with automated accessibility testing (axe-core) for WCAG 2.1 A and AA.
We check that every page and the online visit work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus, a "Skip to main content" link and dialogs that keep focus inside them.
We check that pages work on a 320-pixel-wide screen, which is the same as zooming to 400%, and with larger text spacing.
Form questions have labels; when an answer is missing, the message is tied to the question and the cursor moves to it.
Our printable documents (the Online Care Terms, the Notice of Privacy Practices and the Telemedicine Consent) are tagged PDFs, and each is also a web page.

Parts provided by other companies

The card payment window is provided by Authorize.net, and live video visits use a video service. We choose these services with accessibility in mind, but we don't control their design. If either one doesn't work for you, call us and we'll complete that step another way.

If something doesn't work for you

Call 214-666-6259 (TTY: 711) or email mycare@passionhealthphysicians.com. Tell us the page and what happened. We can:

take your online visit by phone, with the same price and the same clinician review;
give you any document in large print, as an accessible electronic file, or read it to you;
arrange a qualified sign language interpreter or other aid for a video visit, at no charge to you.

We reply within two business days, and the same day when you're trying to get care.
