Sleep apnea
Loud snoring, gasping at night, or tired all day? A clinician reviews your sleep screening and, if it points to sleep apnea, refers you for a sleep study through a sleep center.
Trouble falling or staying asleep? A video visit, a CBT-I-based sleep plan, and non-controlled medicine options when they help.
Yes, by live video, for adults 18 and older in Texas. Trouble falling or staying asleep? A video visit, a CBT-I-based sleep plan, and non-controlled medicine options when they help. A Texas-licensed Passion Health clinician meets you on live video (Passion Health sees every mental-health visit by video), uses validated screening tools and builds a written plan with you. The flat price is $129, or use insurance. Medicines a clinician may consider include doxepin (low dose), ramelteon and trazodone — never controlled medicines, and a prescription is never guaranteed. If you've fallen asleep, or nearly fallen asleep, while driving in the past few months, you need to be seen in person today instead (at our Dallas–Fort Worth clinics, or urgent care near you), and you don't pay the online fee.

Insomnia is trouble falling asleep, staying asleep or waking too early, despite enough time in bed, that leaves you tired or unfocused during the day. It is chronic when it happens at least 3 nights a week for 3 months. Stress, anxiety, depression, pain, caffeine, alcohol, shift work and sleep apnea can all play a part.
Not near one of our clinics? Online Care is open to adults anywhere in Texas; our clinics are in Dallas–Fort Worth. If the safety questions or your clinician show you need to be examined, we tell you what kind of care you need and how soon — an emergency room, an urgent care center, or a clinician near you. If you've already paid, the full fee is refunded and you get a written summary of your visit to take with you.
Also call 911 for chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke signs, a sudden severe headache, fainting, a seizure, severe bleeding, new confusion, throat swelling, an overdose or thoughts of harming someone else — and call or text 988 for thoughts of harming yourself. If screening routes you before you pay, nothing is charged. If a clinician routes you after you've paid, the full fee is refunded.
Your answers go to the clinician ahead of the visit.

Generic prices are mail-order cash prices listed by Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company on October 15, 2026, including its $5.00 pharmacy fee and $5.25 standard shipping. A shorter course costs less.
Shown so you can plan, not to point you to a pharmacy. Any Texas pharmacy can fill your prescription, and its cash price may be higher or lower. With insurance, your plan sets your cost, and a cash purchase usually doesn't count toward your deductible. If you have Medicare or Medicaid, ask the pharmacy to use your coverage first. Prices change. Passion Health doesn't sell medicine and receives nothing from any pharmacy or drugmaker. A prescription is never guaranteed.
Shown so you know what to expect. The reviewing clinician decides what, if anything, is appropriate for you — a prescription is never guaranteed, and controlled medicines are never prescribed online.
Using insurance: we're in network with BCBS of Texas, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Humana and Healthcare Highways, and we verify eligibility for every plan before review — you see your estimated cost-share first. New patients have a short video visit, because plans pay for a visit, not a form. Same-day review applies to self-pay visits; insurance visits begin once we've verified your plan, which is the next business morning if you submit overnight or on a weekend. Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and TRICARE are billed to the program, and the cash rate isn't offered for covered services.
Full refund if your case isn't accepted: if the clinician doesn't accept your case for online care, for any reason, the full fee is refunded to your card within 10 business days, and we help you get the care you need: a same-day visit at one of our Dallas–Fort Worth clinics or, if you're not near one, clear advice on where to be seen and a written summary of your visit. With insurance, no claim is submitted for the online review. Paying the flat price yourself? You can ask for a written Good Faith Estimate before your visit.
Labs and imaging, if needed, are billed separately, and medication is paid at your pharmacy. Passion Health doesn't sell, ship or mark up medication.
Check-in 1–2 weeks after any medication start or change, then on a schedule that fits your plan; 90 days of messaging.
6-week structured plan with weekly check-in messages. Home sleep study via Passion Health Sleep & Wellness Center if indicated.
The flat cash rate is $129 for a comprehensive evaluation, or use your insurance and pay your plan's cost-share — we show you an estimate before review starts. Medication is paid at your pharmacy. If the clinician doesn't accept your case for online care, for any reason, the full fee is refunded to your card.
Because a conversation is the safest way to sort out what is driving a sleep problem: mood, pain, breathing at night, medicines, alcohol or habits. Seeing insomnia visits by live video is Passion Health's policy. A Texas-licensed clinician uses validated screening tools and builds the plan with you.
No. You're paying for a licensed clinician's evaluation and plan. Many visits end with a prescription; some end with a different plan, a test, or a referral. Controlled medicines — stimulants, benzodiazepines, opioids, testosterone, sleep aids like zolpidem — are never prescribed at an online visit.
Not through Online Care. Zolpidem, benzodiazepines and similar sleep medicines are controlled substances and are not prescribed online. Your clinician focuses on CBT-I-based steps, which help many people sleep better over the long term, and may consider non-controlled medicines when they're appropriate for you.
Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia is a structured program, without medicine, that retrains your sleep habits and the thoughts that keep you awake. It includes a set wake time, limiting time spent awake in bed, and a wind-down routine. Your plan runs about 6 weeks, with weekly check-in messages.
Possibly. Loud snoring, gasping at night, morning headaches and daytime sleepiness can point to sleep apnea, which disrupts sleep and strains the heart. The intake includes a short screening, and if your answers suggest apnea, your clinician may recommend a home sleep test before any sleep medicine.
CBT-I comes first. If a medicine is also needed, options include low-dose doxepin (3 to 6 mg), which helps you stay asleep, and ramelteon, which helps you fall asleep. Trazodone is sometimes used, but sleep guidelines don't recommend it as a first choice; it can cause dizziness when you stand up, morning grogginess and, rarely, an erection that lasts more than 4 hours, which needs emergency care. Over-the-counter sleep aids that contain diphenhydramine or doxylamine aren't recommended for ongoing use, especially after 65, because they can cause confusion and falls.
A clinician may form a valid patient relationship by live video when the in-person standard of care is met (Tex. Occ. Code §111.005(a)(3), §111.007). Seeing insomnia visits by live video is Passion Health's policy, and controlled sleep medicines are never prescribed through Online Care.
