
Dr. Nishath Farhad is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). She provides compassionate, evidence-based care for children from birth through adolescence. Her care approach focuses on building strong relationships with families, helping children feel comfortable, and supporting parents as they make important decisions about their child’s health.
Dr. Farhad earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin before attending medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM) in Fort Worth. She completed her pediatric residency at Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Medical Center in Temple, Texas, where she received comprehensive training in caring for infants, children, and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Her professional interests include pediatric preventive care, developmental and behavioral pediatrics, ADHD, asthma and eczema management, social-emotional health, mental health, healthy lifestyle counseling, and childhood obesity prevention. She is passionate about helping children grow, develop, and build lifelong habits that support overall well-being.
In recognition of her commitment to patient care, Dr. Farhad has been named a DFW Child Mom-Approved Pediatrician for four consecutive years: 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. This recognition reflects the trust and confidence of the families she has served.
Dr. Farhad speaks English and conversational Bangla. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, cooking, staying active through fitness, and spending time with her husband and three children. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with families and supporting children through every stage of growth and development.
