Positive ANA
Coming soon. Got a positive ANA result? A clinician will review your symptoms and labs, explain what it may mean, and can ask a rheumatologist for advice.
Coming soon. Joint pain, morning stiffness, or a positive ANA? With your consent, a Passion Health clinician will be able to ask a rheumatologist for written advice.
Online specialist input for rheumatology input is coming soon. Until then, a Passion Health clinician can see you in person in Dallas–Fort Worth, usually the same day; elsewhere in Texas, ask your own clinician about a specialist referral.
Not yet. When it launches, this will be an eConsult: your Passion Health clinician asks a rheumatologist for written advice. You won't have a visit with the rheumatologist, and they won't take over your care. Until then, a Passion Health clinician can see you in person in Dallas–Fort Worth, usually the same day; elsewhere in Texas, ask your own clinician about a specialist referral. If you take an immune-suppressing arthritis medicine and have a fever or signs of infection, you need to be seen in person today instead (at our Dallas–Fort Worth clinics, or urgent care near you).

Rheumatology is the medical specialty for arthritis and autoimmune conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, and psoriatic arthritis. Through an eConsult, your Passion Health clinician evaluates you, then sends your question, symptoms, and lab results to a rheumatologist for written advice. The rheumatologist doesn't see or examine you; your clinician explains the advice.
Not near one of our clinics? Online Care is open to adults anywhere in Texas; our clinics are in Dallas–Fort Worth. If the safety questions or your clinician show you need to be examined, we tell you what kind of care you need and how soon — an emergency room, an urgent care center, or a clinician near you. If you've already paid, the full fee is refunded and you get a written summary of your visit to take with you.
Also call 911 for chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke signs, a sudden severe headache, fainting, a seizure, severe bleeding, new confusion, throat swelling, an overdose or thoughts of harming someone else — and call or text 988 for thoughts of harming yourself. If screening routes you before you pay, nothing is charged. If a clinician routes you after you've paid, the full fee is refunded.
A Passion Health clinician evaluates you — online or by video — and stays responsible for your care. With your written consent, they send your history, results and your question to a specialist, who replies with written advice, usually within a few days. The specialist advises your clinician; they don't see you or take over your care. If they think you need to be seen in person, your clinician arranges a referral. How it will be billed is shown here before it opens.

No. A Passion Health clinician evaluates you and stays responsible for your care. With your consent, they send your history, results and question to a specialist, who replies with written advice — usually within a few days. If the specialist thinks you need to be seen in person, your clinician arranges a referral.
No. You're paying for a licensed clinician's evaluation and plan. Many visits end with a prescription; some end with a different plan, a test, or a referral. Controlled medicines — stimulants, benzodiazepines, opioids, testosterone, sleep aids like zolpidem — are never prescribed at an online visit.
Not necessarily. A positive ANA is common — many healthy people have one, especially at low levels, and most never develop an autoimmune disease. What matters is the level, the pattern, your symptoms, and other tests. Your clinician reviews these and, if helpful, asks a rheumatologist whether more testing or a visit is needed.
No. Your Passion Health clinician is the one who evaluates you, by video or online. The rheumatologist reviews the question and records your clinician sends and replies in writing. Your clinician explains the advice, orders any suggested tests, and arranges an in-person rheumatology visit if the advice is that you need one.
Stiffness that lasts more than 30 to 60 minutes after waking, along with swollen joints, can be a sign of inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis. Stiffness from wear-and-tear arthritis usually eases within 30 minutes. Starting treatment early for inflammatory arthritis helps protect your joints, so your clinician pays close attention to this pattern.
Your Passion Health clinician forms the patient relationship and stays responsible for your care (Tex. Occ. Code §111.005, §111.007). The specialist gives written advice to that clinician with your documented consent and does not see you.
