Passion Health WeightCare combines evidence-based medical care with personalized nutrition, activity, sleep and behavior strategies. When appropriate, your clinician can also evaluate whether prescription weight-management medication should be part of your plan.

WeightCare begins by understanding your health, your previous weight-loss experiences and what may be making weight management difficult.
WeightCare is designed to help adults living with overweight or obesity while also addressing related health concerns.

Testing and referrals are ordered only when medically appropriate. Labs, imaging and specialist services may be billed separately.
Your first visit includes a detailed review of your medical history, weight history, medications, nutrition, activity, sleep, stress, goals and previous treatment attempts.
You receive an individualized plan addressing nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, behavior change, medical conditions and prescription medication when appropriate.
Follow-up frequency depends on your treatment plan. Patients starting or adjusting medication may be followed more closely.
When you reach your initial goal, your clinician helps develop a long-term weight-maintenance strategy.

Medically necessary visits, testing and other eligible services are submitted to your insurance according to your benefits and Passion Health's payer agreements.
Prepaid for your first three months
After the initial three-month period, enrollment continues month-to-month.
Eligible Passion Health Direct members may add WeightCare for $99 per month.
The combined Passion Health Direct and WeightCare membership is $184 per month.
Medication, laboratory testing, imaging and separately billed professional services are not included.

When medication is appropriate, Passion Health generally prioritizes FDA-approved weight-management treatments.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded products for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed.
Passion Health does not describe compounded medications as generic, the same as or equivalent to an FDA-approved medication.

WeightCare is not initially offered as a pediatric program.
Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding are not candidates for weight-loss medication.
Patients with an active eating disorder, unstable psychiatric condition, severe symptoms or possible secondary cause of weight gain may require additional evaluation or a different level of care.
Your WeightCare clinician can coordinate with Passion Health primary care and other participating services rather than treating weight as an isolated problem.
There is no single diet, medication or target that is appropriate for everyone.
When medication is prescribed, we monitor response, side effects, relevant health markers and whether treatment remains appropriate.
Use accepted insurance when eligible or choose transparent direct-pay access if you are uninsured or fully out of network.

No. Prescription medications, compounded medications, laboratory testing and imaging are separate from the WeightCare Direct membership fee.
Coverage varies significantly. Some plans cover FDA-approved weight-management medications, while others exclude them or require prior authorization.
Your clinician can discuss covered alternatives, nonmedication treatment, affordability resources when available and transparent self-pay options.
Yes. Medication is one possible component of WeightCare. Patients can receive medical evaluation, lifestyle guidance, monitoring and coordinated care without prescription medication.
Follow-up frequency depends on your health and treatment plan. Patients starting or adjusting medication may be seen monthly. Stable patients may be followed every four to eight weeks or as clinically appropriate.
Eligible adults located in Texas may receive certain WeightCare visits through telehealth. An in-person evaluation or testing may still be required.
Most patients do not need a referral, but certain insurance plans may require one.
No. Results vary based on medical conditions, treatment selection, medication response, nutrition, activity, adherence and other individual factors.
Your clinician will help develop a maintenance plan that may include continued medical follow-up, nutrition and activity strategies, medication reassessment and monitoring for weight regain.
