Motion sickness is nausea, dizziness, sweating and sometimes vomiting caused by movement in a car, boat, plane or train, or by virtual reality. It happens when your eyes and inner ear send your brain mixed signals about motion. It is more common in women, in people with migraines and during pregnancy, and it usually eases once the movement stops.
Car sickness is most common in passengers, especially when reading or looking at a screen. Sitting in the front seat, looking at the horizon, getting fresh air and avoiding heavy meals before the drive can help. Drivers rarely get car sick because they can anticipate the car's movements.
Seasickness can be stronger and last longer than car sickness, especially in rough water. A cabin in the middle of the ship on a lower deck, time on deck watching the horizon, and starting preventive medicine before boarding can help. Some prescription options must be started hours before you sail, so plan your visit a few days ahead.

Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and TRICARE are billed to the program, and the cash rate isn't offered for covered services.

For motion sickness, Texas law lets the clinician evaluate you from a condition-specific intake plus your photos and records, and they'll call or video you whenever something needs a conversation. New patients using insurance have a short video visit, because plans pay for a visit, not a form.
No. You're paying for a licensed clinician's evaluation and plan. Many visits end with a prescription; some end with a different plan, a test, or a referral. Controlled medicines — stimulants, benzodiazepines, opioids, testosterone, sleep aids like zolpidem — are never prescribed at an online visit.
Before you travel, not after symptoms start. Over-the-counter tablets are usually taken about an hour before. Some prescription patches need to go on several hours before travel to work well. If you're going on a cruise or long trip, start your online visit a few days ahead so your plan, and any prescription if appropriate, is ready in time.
Many options can, including common over-the-counter antihistamines and prescription patches, and alcohol makes this worse. Some can also cause dry mouth, blurred vision or confusion, especially in older adults. Don't drive or operate machinery until you know how a medicine affects you. Tell your clinician if you'll need to drive or stay alert so they can tailor your plan.
A clinician may form a valid patient relationship online using store-and-forward technology — your condition-specific intake, photos and records — paired with a call or video when needed, as long as the in-person standard of care is met (Tex. Occ. Code §111.005(a)(3), §111.007). Your clinician gives you guidance on follow-up care and, with your consent, sends new patients' visit notes to their primary care physician within 72 hours (§111.005(b)).
